Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 26 February 2026
Important disclaimer
Predictions are advisory and based on historical data only. We cannot guarantee admission to any college. The Service is designed for student guidance so that no aspirant misses out on a good college simply because they did not know about it. Always cross-verify with the official MHT-CET CAP brochure and an authorised counsellor before finalising a choice.
1. Introduction and acceptance
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AdmissionCrafts web and mobile application, together with every associated feature, API, dashboard, receipt, or communication (collectively, the "Service"), operated by OriginCraft Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, paying for a profile, using any feature of the Service, or clicking any button that confirms acceptance of these Terms, you ("you", "your", the "user") represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by every clause below. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service.
2. Nature of the service โ advisory only, no guarantee
The Service produces indicative shortlists of Maharashtra engineering colleges for MHT-CET aspirants based on the historical Centralised Admission Process ("CAP") cutoff data currently available in our dataset. Every output of the Service โ including but not limited to college lists, groupings (Sure Shot / Aspirational / Far Fetched), branch recommendations, region-wise suggestions, closing-percentile estimates, and rank-based projections โ is ADVISORY AND INDICATIVE ONLY. It is not a promise, warranty, guarantee, or offer of admission. Actual seat allotment in any CAP round depends on multiple factors outside our control, including but not limited to: the official merit list published by the State CET Cell, total candidate participation, seat-matrix changes, reservation and quota policy changes (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/TFWS/PWD/HS/Ladies/Sports), court orders, State Government notifications, CAP-Cell discretion, minority-institution status, on-the-day option-filling choices, and last-minute institute-level updates. You expressly acknowledge that our shortlist may materially differ from your final allotment and accept full responsibility for cross-verifying every college and branch with the official CAP brochure before any irreversible action (option-filling, locking, freezing, withdrawing, or paying institute fees). Before completing payment, you are required to affirmatively confirm, by ticking a checkbox at checkout, that you understand every output of the Service is a prediction based on historical data and is not a guarantee of admission; this confirmation forms part of these Terms.
3. Eligibility and account responsibility
The Service is intended to be purchased and operated by a parent or legal guardian who is at least eighteen (18) years of age and who accepts these Terms on behalf of the student. A student who is sixteen (16) or seventeen (17) years of age may use the Service only under the supervision, and with the consent, of such parent or legal guardian, who remains responsible for the account and for compliance with these Terms. By accepting these Terms and completing payment, you confirm that you are the parent/legal guardian (or that a parent/legal guardian is supervising and consenting to the student's use) and that you are legally competent to enter into this agreement. You warrant that every detail you submit (name, mobile, email, MHT-CET percentile, rank, category, home-state status, ladies-quota status, branch and city preferences) is true, complete, and current. You are solely responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and for every action taken through your account. We may suspend, disable, or delete accounts that violate these Terms, that submit fraudulent data, or that attempt to circumvent paywalls, rate-limits, or authentication controls, without notice and without refund.
4. Purpose โ guidance layered over official counselling
The Service exists so that no student misses out on a college they could have realistically secured, simply because they did not know it existed or did not realise their score qualified. We intentionally present a broad, data-grounded shortlist across all three confidence bands to widen your awareness of options across regions, branches, and quota categories. The Service does not replace, and must not be treated as a substitute for, the official Maharashtra State CET Cell, the Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra ("DTE"), the AICTE Fee Regulatory Authority, official CAP brochures, or any accredited career counsellor. We strongly encourage students and parents to use our output as one of several inputs into their final choice, alongside campus visits, placement analysis, and accredited counselling.
5. Payments, GST, marks correction, and refund policy
Each profile slot is billed at โน199 (base) plus 18% Goods & Services Tax (โน35.82), totalling โน234.82 per slot, payable exclusively through Razorpay. One profile slot grants one prediction for the student details submitted at the time of payment. Marks, rank, and percentile can be corrected only ONCE after payment through the one-time correction flow. Branches, cities, and region preferences can be updated multiple times without additional charge โ however, this does not entitle you to unlimited re-runs. Once a profile is created and a prediction is generated, the fee is NON-REFUNDABLE except in the specific scenarios listed in our Refund Policy (duplicate charge, technical failure to deliver a prediction, wrong amount charged). Card and UPI credentials are handled solely by Razorpay under its own terms; we do not see, store, or transmit them. Any dispute regarding a payment must be raised in writing within seven (7) days of the transaction, failing which the transaction is deemed accepted.
6. Data sources, accuracy, and refresh cadence
Cutoff, intake, fee, NAAC, NIRF, NBA, minority-status, and placement data are sourced from publicly available publications by the Maharashtra State CET Cell, DTE Maharashtra, AICTE, NIRF, NAAC, NBA, and college self-disclosures. We refresh this data periodically on a best-effort basis; we do not undertake to publish real-time or same-day updates for any CAP cycle. We make NO WARRANTY that the data in the Service is complete, current, error-free, or free of transcription mistakes. Any discrepancy between our display and the corresponding official publication should be reported to support โ the official publication shall always prevail, and we reserve the right to correct our dataset without notice.
7. No responsibility for technical glitches, downtime, or misinterpretation
You expressly acknowledge and agree that we shall bear NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER for any failure, delay, error, glitch, outage, latency, incorrect display, incorrect calculation, browser incompatibility, mobile-network failure, ISP failure, DNS failure, third-party API failure, payment-gateway failure, or any other technical, network, or infrastructure issue affecting the Service, whether during ordinary use or during critical CAP-round windows (option-filling, locking, freezing, or seat-acceptance windows). You further acknowledge that: (a) the Service may be unavailable at any time without notice for maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen reasons; (b) we do not commit to any uptime SLA; (c) any misreading, misinterpretation, or misapplication of information displayed by the Service is entirely your responsibility; (d) you shall independently verify every college, branch, closing rank, and category quota against the official CAP brochure before taking any action; (e) we shall not compensate for loss of admission, loss of college choice, loss of counselling opportunity, or any consequence arising from your reliance on the Service during a live CAP window.
8. Changes in MHT-CET score, CAP schedule, or third-party data after payment
If your MHT-CET score is revised (via re-evaluation, revaluation, provisional to final, court order, or CET-Cell correction) after your payment, or if the CAP schedule is amended, postponed, advanced, or restructured by the State Government or the CET Cell, or if the source data (cutoffs, intake, categories, quotas) is materially changed by any of the sources listed in Clause 6, the Service will make best-effort updates but shall NOT be liable to refund, re-generate, or compensate any prediction that is impacted by such external change. Your one-time marks-correction facility (Clause 5) is the sole remedy available to you in the case of a score revision, and it does not apply beyond one use.
9. Cutoff-data errors originating from source
Where a cutoff, intake, category, or fee value in the Service is later found to differ from the corresponding value in an official Maharashtra State CET Cell / DTE / AICTE publication, the source-side error or delay in publication shall not, at any time, be treated as an error of the Service. We disclaim all responsibility for any admission or counselling decision made in reliance on a value that was subsequently corrected by the source. Your sole remedy in such a case is to report the discrepancy and rely on the corrected source value going forward.
10. User conduct and prohibited actions
You agree that you will NOT, and will not permit any third party to: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, spider, bulk-extract, or crawl the Service, its API, its database, or any output; (b) resell, sublicense, rent, lease, redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit any prediction, shortlist, or dataset displayed by the Service; (c) use the Service in any advisory or counselling business without a written commercial agreement with us; (d) impersonate another user, submit false or misleading details, or attempt to obtain more than one paid slot per student per CAP cycle through duplicate accounts; (e) attempt to circumvent payment, authentication, rate-limiting, WAF, or geofencing controls; (f) upload or transmit any malware, viruses, or exploit code; (g) use the Service to mislead, defraud, or manipulate any student, parent, guardian, counsellor, or authority; (h) use automated tools, bots, or headless browsers to interact with the Service. Violation of any of the foregoing is a material breach of these Terms and grounds for immediate termination without refund plus recovery of damages.
11. Intellectual property
All intellectual property in the Service โ including but not limited to source code, prediction algorithms, bucket-thresholding logic, database schema, user interface, iconography, brand marks ("AdmissionCrafts", "AdmissionCraft", "OriginCraft", the star + amber-fill logo), copywriting, translations, and marketing collateral โ- is owned by OriginCraft Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd or its licensors, and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and trade-secret law. No right or licence is granted to you except the limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable right to access the Service in accordance with these Terms.
12. Privacy and data protection
We collect the minimum data required to deliver the Service. Please read our Privacy Policy โ it is incorporated into these Terms by reference and its acceptance is a condition of using the Service. In summary: we collect your name, mobile, email, MHT-CET details, and preferences; we use them only for delivering predictions, receipts, and OTPs; we retain payment records for seven (7) years as required by Indian tax law; we do NOT sell personal data; you may request deletion via support@admissioncrafts.com and we will action it within 30 days.
13. Limitation of liability โ absolute cap and excluded losses
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall AdmissionCrafts, OriginCraft Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd, its founders, directors, employees, contractors, consultants, agents, or affiliates be liable โ whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, indemnity, or on any other legal theory โ for any (i) indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages; (ii) loss of profits, revenue, savings, goodwill, opportunity, or business; (iii) loss of admission, loss of college choice, loss of branch preference, loss of quota benefit, or any consequence flowing from actual CAP allotment differing from any prediction; (iv) fees, tuition, hostel deposits, or any institute-level payments; (v) emotional distress, reputational harm, or any personal consequence to the student, parent, or guardian; (vi) any harm arising from your reliance on the Service during a live CAP window. Our TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY to you, in the event any of the above disclaimers is held unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, is strictly capped and shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to us for the specific profile slot, prediction, or Service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this Clause shall exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. This cap survives termination and applies notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or limits any right or remedy available to you that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your non-excludable rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019; where any provision of these Terms conflicts with such a non-excludable right, that right prevails to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder of these Terms continues in full force.
14. Disclaimers โ no warranty of any kind
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise โ including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, currency, uninterrupted access, freedom from viruses, or non-infringement.
